How to care for the cap:

1. Hand Wash the Cap (DO NOT machine wash)

Use Cold Water: Fill a sink or basin with cold water. Avoid using hot water, as it can cause the cap to shrink or distort the embroidery.

Mild Detergent: Add a small amount of mild detergent, like dish soap or laundry detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals like bleach that can damage the fabric and embroidery.

Spot Clean: Gently scrub any stained areas using a soft cloth or soft-bristled brush, being careful around the embroidered sections.

Soak if Needed: If the cap is particularly dirty, you can let it soak for a few minutes before rinsing.

2. Rinse Gently

Rinse the cap thoroughly with cold water to remove all detergent residue. Make sure not to wring or twist the cap, especially around the embroidery, as this could distort the design.

3. Air Dry Properly

Shape the Cap: Reshape the cap by placing it over a round object, like a bowl or a balled-up towel, to maintain its structure while drying.

Avoid Direct Sunlight: Let the cap air dry in a shaded area to prevent fading of the fabric and the embroidery.

Do Not Use a Dryer: Never put the cap in the dryer, as heat can cause shrinkage and damage the embroidery.

4. Protect the Embroidery

Avoid Ironing: DO NOT iron directly over the embroidery, as heat can damage the threads. If ironing is needed, place a cloth over the embroidery to protect it.

Store Properly: When not in use, store the cap in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight to avoid fading and dust buildup.
